You want to support your health and wellbeing without it turning into an obsession.
You want to stop spending every second of the day thinking about food and your body, and break free from all the worry and negative thoughts.
You want to stop letting your weight determine how you feel about your body so you can feel confident in your own skin, no matter what, but it's still hard for you to get past the numbers.
And you want to pave the way for your kids (or your future little ones) to have better relationships with food and their bodies, but you don't know how to help them.
But instead, eating feels complicated.
At times, just thinking about food can be emotionally draining.
Well, the reason eating and feeling comfortable in your own body feels so hard isn't because you're somehow defective or doing it wrong...
It's an entire industry that tries to influence how you feel about your body, so they can keep making money off of your insecurities, food fears and body image issues.
They want you to believe something's wrong with your body, so you'll keep buying their latest solution, diet, app or whatever.
It's just how you've been socialized to think about yourself and the way you look.
And the best news? That's all about to change!
You'll learn a step-by-step process to work through and overcome your challenges with eating and your body image, and build your emotional resilience, confidence and overall skillset.

Your body may release weight as a biproduct of doing this work, but we believe the most valuable thing you can learn to focus on right now is building the kind of relationships with food, eating, movement, and your body that shift your focus away from the scale and onto creating a more meaningful life.
So you can finally lose the food and body obsession, guilt, shame, self-loathing, restriction, dieting, binge eating, and more.
You can choose from the following options:
Sessions are 50-minute video calls (via Zoom). The Mini-Package also includes unlimited written coaching support, Tuesday through Friday (via email).
If you're in the recovery stage of your eating disorder and looking for additional support, coaching can often be offered alongside treatment from your healthcare team.
With that said, eating disorders typically require medical care and treatment by a team of health professionals. So if you're actively struggling with your eating disorder or think you might have one, please seek the advice of your own medical providers.
If you're looking for a referral, you can visit the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) website today by Clicking Here.
If you have any other questions, you can email Edda@thoughtfullynourished.com.
Please note: All inquiries are assessed on a case by case basis, and clients can be referred out to other health professionals at any time during a coaching contract/agreement, at the sole discretion of the coach.
My specific approach to helping you with your relationship with food is a unique process that I developed after training and certifying as a Life Coach, practicing as a Registered Dietitian for a decade, and specializing in disordered eating, emotional eating, and other eating and body concerns.
While my approach does have similarities to many aspects of Intuitive Eating (as created by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch), there are differences, too. I offer new concepts, incorporate life coaching tools and talk about things differently than what you've probably heard about before.
I'm both!
I'm a Certified Life Coach through The Life Coach School and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
Currently, I'm only offering services as a coach. Which means I'm not offering meal plans or Medical Nutrition Therapy at this time.
If you decide to work with me, you're hiring me as your coach (who also has over a decade of experience working with food and body concerns). So fun!
The process to begin coaching is simple.
You schedule a free 60-minute consultation, and if we both agree that working together is a good fit, we'll decide on a coaching package that best meets your needs.
Next, you'll begin the client onboarding process. During that time, you'll receive a coaching agreement and invoice to complete electronically, and you'll schedule your first session using an online calendar.
Then you'll fill out a few forms before your first session and we'll dive in!
Having doubts or fears is normal and isn't necessarily a reason not to do something, especially if what you've been doing (often for years) hasn't been helping you.
You just need to decide if you're willing to try something new and give it your all, instead of doing more of the same.
You could even spend some time considering how your life would change if this does help you.
I get it, your life probably already feels super busy and the idea of adding one more thing into the mix feels like it might be too much...
But here's the thing, you get to decide how much or how little time you put in outside of your weekly coaching calls. Even five or ten minutes a day can add up and make a big difference.
Just remember, the more you put in, the more you'll get out. It's all up to you.
Not at all! I work with anyone who struggles around food, with their eating and/or their body image.
Feel free to email your question to Edda@thoughtfullynourished.com, and you'll receive a reply within 1-3 business days.
